Getting to #OBTS v6.0:

For international traveler, it is likely quickest to fly into Malaga Airport, also called Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport (airport code: AGP).

There are a few different ways to get from Malaga Airport (AGP) to the Gran Melia Don Pepe in Marbella, depending on your preferences and budget. Here are some options:
  • Taxi: The easiest and most convenient option is to take a taxi directly from the airport to the hotel. The journey should take around 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic, and cost approximately €70-€90.

  • Private Transfer: Another option is to book a private transfer in advance through a company such as Suntransfers or Shuttle Direct. This will usually cost a bit more than a taxi, but it can be more comfortable and convenient.

  • Public Transportation: If you're on a tighter budget, you can take public transportation from the airport to Marbella. First, take the train from Malaga Airport to Malaga Centro Alameda station, which takes around 12 minutes and costs approximately €1.80. From there, take the bus (Line 220) to Marbella, which takes around 45 minutes and costs approximately €6. Once you arrive in Marbella, you can take a taxi or walk to the hotel, which is located in the city center.
