Q: #OBTS tickets used to be free/cheaper. What happened?
A: To ensure the conference breaks even - and remains sustainable - we now charge a single fixed fee for attendance. 100% of ticket sales go toward covering conference costs, speaker honorariums, and student scholarships.
Unfortunately, the previously offered discounted tickets were often purchased by people simply to secure a spot at the conference (which always sells out), but many of them never actually attended.

If you are a student you can (and should!)
apply for either a full conference scholarship, or a free conference ticket.
Q: What do I need for registration at the in-person event?
A: After purchasing your conference ticket, you'll receive a receipt from Stripe. To pick up your badge at the conference, you'll be asked for email address used for the purchase, which we'll verify. We recommend keeping your Stripe receipt easily accessible, just in case.
Q: Are the conference trainings included in the conference ticket?
A: No. Trainings are separate from the conference, and will require both a separate signup and a separate payment.
